What is Scouting?

Scouts BSA teachers life long skills is a fun way. Scouts will a variety of topics such as First Aid, Survival, Citizenship, Shooting Sports, and more.  Our troop is committed to camping outdoors once a month along with providing opportunities for high adventure.

The Scouting program is coordinated by adults but ran by the Youth.  Scouts are in charge and have a direct say in what activities take place. The Scouting program provides leaders training opportunities along with requiring Scouts to serve in a leadership position to advance.

Scouts form strong lasting friendships. Scouts are divided up into patrols with other Scouts who are approximately the same age. Patrols then work as a team to plan and accomplish task.
